Potassium chloride, or potash (60% K2O), is a fertilizer used for base application in the autumn or for early spring fertilization. It must not be used on plants sensitive to chlorine (such as legumes, fruiting vegetables, strawberries, sweet and sour cherries, apple trees, and small fruits). Grasslands are top-dressed in late winter/early spring or after mowing.

Usage:
Potassium chloride is suitable for fertilizing cereals, rapeseed, potatoes, sugar beet, maize, and grassland.

Recommended dosage (g/10 m²): wheat, rye 150–250; barley 200–350; rapeseed 250–350; potatoes 300–400; sugar beet 300–500; maize 250–400; grassland 100–300.
