Developed in collaboration with Mendel University following extensive research, this revitalizing organic substrate is made from a blend of raised-bog peats with varying degrees of decomposition, coconut husk fiber, bark compost, a multi-component mineral fertilizer with slow-release nitrogen, water-retaining minerals, and peat extract enriched with seaweed and finely ground dolomitic limestone.
What the substrate contains and what makes it unique
Water-retentive minerals – thanks to their absorptive capacity, they take up large amounts of water and nutrients, gradually releasing them back into the soil during dry spells. This ensures plants receive moisture and nourishment even under adverse conditions, making them far more resilient against negative factors such as disease.
Slow-release fertilizers – release nutrients gradually throughout the entire growing season.
Peat extract with seaweed – thanks to humic substances, plants absorb nutrients more quickly and efficiently; the formula is further enriched with the nutritional benefits of seaweed.
Benefits:
effective water retention and gradual release according to plant needs
reduces the negative impact of plant diseases
promotes plant rooting
improved nutrient uptake by plants
Usage:
This revitalizing organic substrate is designed primarily for growing vegetables in outdoor garden beds prone to drought; its structure helps retain water within the soil profile. It is incorporated into the beds during spring or autumn preparation, mixed with the native soil at a ratio of approximately 1:1. The substrate is suitable for planting fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs, with the exception of acid-loving varieties. It promotes successful establishment, improves the site's nutritional balance during the initial years, increases the soil's organic and humic content, and facilitates water delivery to the roots thanks to its water-retention component.
